Peninsular or Southern Thailand

This Area extends down from Phetchaburi into the Malaysian boundary and is Just twenty miles wide at its narrowest point. It’s characterized By lush vegetation and toward the south you will find rubber and tin plantations. There are a number of vacation islands off the shore, such as Ko Samui and Phuket. Ranong, Surat Thani, Nakhon Si Thammarat, Songkhla, and the railroad junction of Had Yai would be the essential towns. Population: 8 million
